Street Party

I am rather proud of this picture even though its a bit grotty!!  The reason is I got a street party and John who was intending to get one for his blog, went round ,and came back saying you  cant go taking pics when its not your street, ha! I DID   Ha!  These people had had a good time and I think the whole day was really great.  Not a single Bhurka in site, or for that matter I didnt see a lot of headscarves either!!  I think the best bits other than the beatiful bride was the sister, who did her bit so well, and the brother who read the lesson so beautifully.  I was proud to be British today !!  What a great crowd, warmed my heart.

Mothers day

I had a lovely mothers day, my lovely girls gave me beautiful gifts, flowers from Tina, and a bag of goodies from Sue.   I am so blessed.

Family weekend

We had a super time as a family this last weekend, we played skittles, our team should have been called The Zombies judging by this pic.  we didnt win!!!  I think Sue's Slappers won, which should have been interesting in  Harry's news book at his posh school on Monday !!! Especially as his Grandma was taken off in a police car as well!!

My anniversary

As usual John sent me these beautiful flowers, my 54th anniversary bouquet,  always with red roses because he loves me,  no woman could have a better husband than mine, and he improves every year with the in house training.!!  I love him too!

Crocus

I saw these lovely crocus popping up this morning in our garden, proof that Bournemouth is the best place to live !

Its Sprung

I really think Spring has sprung, this Bluebell has forced its way up through black plastic and a load of slate to tell us  no way is anything stopping nature from planning to display her beauty, so we will see her colours before long.  Winter is nearly done, even if it is cold and windy and raining!

Early Morning

I awoke this morning and staggered out of bed, on my way to loo I noticed there was a lovely sunrise,but I told myself it was too early and I dont do early. However the thought of getting ticked off for not doing my blog again I decided to stagger out to the door and poke my camera out to take the lovely sun ball rising over Bournemouth, bleary eyed I got it, and staggered back to my warm bed. When I awoke and looked at my wonderful sunrise??? Oh dear it was the lamplight!!!  Look closely and you will see!  Oh well done me blog anyway !

Disaster

I had an accident  one morning, you see I have to have a list of how to put my pictures on my blog, I pinned the instructions to the wall in front of the computer,  but unfortunately it fell down the back of the cupboard so I couldnt put them on my blog!!  SO  that is why no pics for days and all the dates are wrong, but its OK its back on the wall now. Great !

Worried

I'm worried about John,  he has been eating a lot of carrots lately,and he keeps digging in the garden, is it too much computer work do you think?

Now you will agree I know that my tulips shown in the colour God made them, is definitely best!!??

It took me all day, but now one only has to pray that they can find what they want and wont keep ringing me up,  ''where's my ----?''  I made them a cake  and put a little plant on the table to get in good books!!!

I went to the home of an elderly couple today to do a clean for them while they were away on holiday, and this is the sight as I entered, where do I begin!!??  All for Jesus !

This is my first attempt, I went out to take my first 2 pictures, blow me if my best one had already been chosen by John, so I have had to make do with this one. However I think this dear little flower deserves a blog because it has struggled to bloom all through the Winter weather.   Bless.
